I know! I have several memories of being eight or older and chickening out of high dives, amusement park rides, routine innoculations, et cetera. It's nice to see those occasions when afflictions are not genetically transmitted.
I wasn't at the park with them, but apparently kids and adults asked Ali several times how old Gin is because her reckless abandon seemed so cognitively dissonant. Some infants and toddlers will jump into water or off heights because they don't have any conception of danger or self-preservation, but she's past that age now.
Awesome. I was way too timid to jump from there when I was their age.

Also, I love how Virginia spreads out all of her fingers when she's in the air. No clenched fists for her!
